The company is accredited with the highest level standard from the European Food Safety Inspection Service (EFSIS) ensuring that our products comply with all legal, safety and quality requirements. This accreditation is recognised by and often forms a prerequisite for many of the UK major multiple retailers.

By complying with the British Retail Consortium (BRC) requirements Humdinger is able to demonstrate that it has both an effective Quality Management System (QMS) and that it is actively employed within the business. As part of the Humdinger QMS all products undergo a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control points (HACCP) study to ensure that all food safety issues are assessed, validated and verified. Other requirements that are met as part of the British Retail Consortium (BRC) accreditation include regular scheduled audits to ensure our QMS is operating effectively. All suppliers of packaging and raw materials are vetted and supplied to an agreed specification. A crisis management team is in place which is regularly tested to ensure that any product recall is met with a prompt and effective response.

Humdinger is a certified member of the Soil Association. Their symbol is the UK's largest and most recognisable trademark for organic produce, certifying 80% of all organic products sold in the UK.

Humdinger are members of both CCFRA (Camden and Chorleywood Research Association) and Lawlabs. CCFRA is the largest independent membership-based organisation carrying out research and development for the food and drinks industry world-wide. Lawlabs is one of the UK's leading independent, confidential advisory service providers to the food industry providing us with access to advice in ensuring we meet all our legal responsibilities under food and trading law.

We are also a member of the NDFTA (National Dried Fruit Trade Association) which helps regulate the dried fruit industry and is pro-active in ensuring product safety.
